Jacobs Family

I have been working with Jenni and Nic since their sweet little Monroe was only 6 months old, and now we are adding a hunk of a little man, Jackson, to the Jacobs crew photos finally. I am beyond thrilled to be able to capture their moments as family as all of them continue to grow.

This session we were joined by Nic's mom, Patsy, and she was such a joy to work with, and my back up woman to help me get Monroe and Jackson to smile (they LOVE their Nana).

Monroe showed off some of her ballet moves and danced a little more for me before we headed off to the duck pond, where we promised she would be able to feed some of the ducks.

The Jacobs family are an amazing (and incredibly funny) family to work with, even with 90+ degrees and 1000% humidity, they had me laughing the entire time. As Jenni put it so nicely, it was like working with a good friend.

"My dearest friend, if you don't mind, I'd like to join you by your side, where we can gaze into the stars, and sit together now and forever. For it is plain as anyone can see, we're simply meant to be."

San Antonio Zoo

So excited to announce that I will be doing sessions at the San Antonio Zoo! My goal was to get photos of my youngest while her big sister was off at camp so that y'all would have a better idea of what your session here would look like, but as most parents know, children have their own ideas of what they want to do, and alas, she did not want to have her photos taken

No fear, I still scoped out different spots that would make for a gorgeous backdrop, and even though I was not able to walk around the entire zoo before my little one decided on it being nap time, I was able to capture some beautiful locations.

Sessions before Labor Day would start at 8am, before the zoo opens to non zoo members. After Labor Day, sessions would be at 9am. I will be able to get either two adults and two children in for free or one adult and three children. For those who are zoo pass holders, make sure to have your passes on you when we go to get all of your family in!

Brynlee and Kaylee

"The journey of a premature baby is often one step forward and two steps back. Watch them breathe, watch them sleep, and nourish them with lots of liquid gold. When strong enough, they will take three leaps forward and never look back."

Brynlee turned the big ONE in June and her sister, Kaylee, turns FIVE July 3rd. They are celebrating in style with a circus themed party! Brynlee had mixed feelings about this session, but that was okay, because memories are memories, no matter the smile or cake stuffed tears (because admit it, sometimes you just need to cry and eat cake).

 Between the tears, Kaylee would swipe some cake off for herself and help Brynlee dive into the cake. Her little tummy and leg rolls were the cutest thing with her crop top circus outfit and if I didn't know better, I would never think she was born 5 weeks early.
