Janie & Josh

After having to reschedule once because of rain, I was so happy to finally work with Janie and her son, Josh, this passed Saturday at the Botanical Gardens.

Josh cracked me up the entire time, with his goofy faces throughout the session. An hour session can be a lot for an active kid, but he held through with the giant, oversized picnic area to look forward to.

Janie and Josh were so amazing to work with and I am so grateful to be able to capture their first mother son session together.

Daphne & Zoey

"A sister is a gift to the heart
A friend to the spirit
A golden thread to the meaning of life."

The weather tried to stop us, but eventually the skies cleared up and I was able to finally take Daphne and Zoey's spring photos. We missed blue bonnet season but the wildflower fields were absolutely gorgeous.

After the wildflower field, we headed down the road to the Botanical Gardens, where the girls explored the flower gardens, fountain, and duck pond. The bond between these two sisters is so strong, and I love being able to watch them grow into the wonderful girls they are becoming.

Johnny & Monica

Johnny and Monica are getting married this June after many years and four beautiful children together and I could not be anymore excited for them!

They are having a quiet, rustic wedding in Canyon Lake and the cabin at the Botanical Gardens was the perfect location to match their theme.

Congratulations, Monica and Johnny!! I look forward to being able to photograph your wedding!

The Armstrong Family

OH. MY. GOODNESS. How I fell in love with these sweet beauties. Despite the rain in the morning, we enjoyed some sunshine during their family session. I had the hardest time choosing which ones to put on my blog because I just love all of them.

We headed to the Botanical Gardens for a baby safe and kid friendly spot that would still lend for a beautiful backdrop, although, I didn't really need much of a backdrop for these cuties. These beautiful siblings will steal the show no matter where they go, being so full of life and love.
