Grayson is THREE!

Boy [boi] noun:

1. one of life's greatest blessings

2. Noise with dirt on it

I worked with Grayson last year to capture his second birthday photos, so when his mom, Lauren, asked if I could do his photos again this year, of course I said yes! In the past year, Grayson has gotten more handsome, curious, fearless, and became a BIG BROTHER.

As a mom, I know how fast a toddler can move and lose attention, so when Lauren mentioned she wanted to do something a little more urbanized this year, the Pearl was the perfect location. I let Grayson take lead for the most part, letting him choose where to go for his photos, the train being his favorite. Thankfully his mom had a bag full of tricks and go to's to keep Grayson's attention, including bubbles! As much as I love my Vogue: Toddler edition photos (which Grayson had LOTS of ), I also love being able to capture what the little ones love, so having Grayson run around chasing bubbles was perfect.

We had an amazing time running around the Pearl, checking out the train, the fountain, and scoping out the food market and band. I cannot wait to see how much more you grow in the next year!

The Arispe Family

It was so awesome being able to capture not only the Arispe's family photos before their son, Aaron, heads off to Japan, but to also photograph their daughter, Celena, and her fiance, Robert's, engagement session. We chose Gruene, Texas as the backdrop for this beautiful family's session before the towns restaurant and stores opened. It was incredibly cold, but Cecilia, Mondo, and the kids held it together long enough to walk the town and snap some photos. The Schoonover Family

I always enjoy working with the Schoonover Family and was very excited when they wanted to take photos at the Pearl. I have never been before and was very excited to see the hidden charm of San Antonio. It was very busy in the morning with the Farmers Market, but that did not stop up from picking out really cool places for the backdrops for their photos. It was an extra special surprise when Santa joined in on their photos next to the beautiful Christmas tree. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from the Schoonover Family!

The Vitela Family

It was such an honor to be able to photograph Lisa and Rene's beautiful family together for the first time in four years. Their daughter Eden works as an I.T.T. tech while their two sons, Dominique and Matt, have been serving our country. Unfortunately, they have always missed each other when it came time for their trips home, but this year, they were able to see each other, and Lisa and Rene were able to have all their children under the same roof. Thank you for serving our country, Dominique and Matt! Enjoy your time home with your family.

The Solis Family

I love being able to work with Maria and her gorgeous girls. We headed out to Gruene, Texas for a Christmas holiday session and it was perfect! The small town had their Christmas decorations out, hay barrels, a set up for Santa, and decorations around the town. The girls brought their fun holiday dress up gear along with them, including reindeer ears and jingle bell necklaces.

The Carpenter Family

It is always a joy working with the my friends, the Carpenter family, and this year their adorable dog, Bailey, joined us. One thing I love about them is their sense of humor, creating beautiful and funny family photos with their fur baby. Despite being in the low 40's, we kept warm with lots of walking and in some cases, skipping along the path at River Road Side Park.
